A night at A Third Place

With Thanksgiving less than a week away, I am feeling especially grateful after spending last Thursday night at A Third Place Pub in downtown Eustis with 25 of my wonderful, childhood friends.

It was a special evening where everything went right. The restaurant / pub was a beautiful setting with rustic, brick and wood décor from an obvious restoration of an old, historic, preservation site. The food and service were unique and exquisite. The open-mic host, Andy Dubois, and the restaurant manager, Bill Ferree, were gracious and accommodating to me and my friends, who came from as far away as St. Augustine and Winter Park to support me while I sang at the open mic night.

I simply cannot imagine anything more rewarding than singing to the very friends who inspired and are a part of so many of my songs.
